The April 30 and May 1 holidays are the start of the peak domestic tourism season in Binh Thuan. This year, the holiday has been extended for 5 consecutive days. This is bringing high expectations for a vibrant tourist season, bringing Binh Thuan tourism closer to the goal of welcoming more than 9.5 million visitors in 2024.

According to accommodation establishments and travel agencies, booking rooms and tours for the April 30 and May 1 holidays this year has been bustling for more than a month. Most resorts in the Ham Tien and Mui Ne areas have recorded a relatively high number of bookings, with occupancy rates ranging from 60-90%, and some places reaching maximum capacity. Most guests choose the 3-day, 2-night accommodation package; peaking from April 27-29.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Hung, Sales Director of Caty- Mui Ne Resort, said: The room occupancy rate during the holiday is estimated at 90-100%. Unlike previous years, this year's guest market is mostly from the South and neighboring provinces, especially Ho Chi Minh City. Besides corporate and unit groups, guests traveling in small groups and families by private vehicles still dominate. Up to this point, facilities, human resources, safety assurance, rescue, drowning... have all been carefully prepared and ready to serve tourists.

In the first 3 months of the year alone, the whole province welcomed more than 2.2 million visitors; of which international visitors reached 121 thousand (up 78% over the same period last year). Tourism revenue is estimated at 5,700 billion VND (up 6%).
