On the morning of August 16, the Hong Linh Town Elderly Association held the opening ceremony of the 2023 Elderly Singing Festival. Attending the opening ceremony were Chairman of the Provincial Elderly Association Thai Van Sinh and leaders of Hong Linh Town.
The festival has 6 teams with 22 elaborately staged performances. The music and dance performances have the theme of praising the Party, Uncle Ho, love for the homeland and the traditions of the elderly. Photo: Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hong Linh town Ton Quang Ngoc delivered the opening speech of the festival.
The festival is a beneficial spiritual activity, encouraging the elderly to live happily, healthily, usefully, and be a shining example for their children and grandchildren to follow. At the same time, it encourages the elderly to unite, promote the role of the elderly, and set a shining example for the cause of national construction; raise social awareness of the position and role of the elderly, and the responsibility of caring for the elderly.
