At the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, two- and three-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto officially unveiled the new Bajaj Freedom 125 2025, the world's first compressed natural gas (CNG) motorcycle. Launched in July 2024, Freedom 125 is a completely new product, developed from scratch, marking a major step forward for the global motorcycle industry towards sustainable fuel-based transportation. Compared to fossil fuels such as gasoline, compressed natural gas (CNG) has significantly lower CO2, NMHC, and NOx emissions.
According to the manufacturer's announcement, Bajaj Freedom 125 helps reduce operating costs by up to 50% compared to conventional gasoline-powered motorbikes, while reducing more than 80% of toxic emissions and 25% of carbon emissions. The 2025 Bajaj Freedom 125 motorcycle has a range of over 200 km with 2 kg of CNG, combined with a 2-liter auxiliary fuel tank for a total range of about 330 km.
Not only that, the operating mechanism of Freedom 125 also has the feature of switching fuel while moving. This is a feature that appears for the first time in the segment, bringing a more flexible and convenient experience to users. The CNG tank is neatly integrated into the trellis frame, ensuring maximum safety. The vehicle has also passed 11 rigorous safety tests. Freedom 125 has many impressive features: horizontal engine, single-link shock absorber, longest saddle in the segment, LED headlights, digital speedometer and Bluetooth connectivity.
With a price starting from only INR 89,997 (VND 27.39 million), Freedom 125 is an ideal choice for users who value reliability, reasonable cost and environmental friendliness. Currently, there are more than 45,000 customers who trust and use the vehicle just a few months after its launch. Video : Introducing the Bajaj Freedom 125 pneumatic motorcycle.
