Son La establishes Land Fund Development Center

On July 1, the People's Committee of Son La province organized the announcement of the decision to establish the Land Fund Development Center under the Provincial People's Committee and announced decisions on personnel work.

Comrade Dang Ngoc Hau, Vice Chairman of Son La Provincial People's Committee, presented the decision on personnel work.

Son La Provincial Land Fund Development Center was established under Decision No. 1586/QD-UBND dated June 27, 2025, on the basis of reorganizing the Land Fund Development Center under the Department of Agriculture and Environment.

Son La Provincial Land Fund Development Center received 4 land fund development centers under the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities (old), including: Phu Yen, Van Ho, Moc Chau and Son La city.

Comrade Dang Ngoc Hau, Vice Chairman of Son La Provincial People's Committee, presented the decision and flowers to congratulate the Son La Provincial Land Fund Development Center.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Huan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Van Ho district (formerly) was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Provincial Land Fund Development Center and assigned to be in charge of operating the Center.

The new center is a public service unit under the People's Committee of Son La province, implementing a mechanism of partial autonomy in regular expenditures.

With the function of creating, developing, managing and exploiting land funds, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center undertakes comprehensive tasks: Organizing compensation, support, resettlement; auctioning land use rights; performing other services in the land sector; acting as the investor of construction projects to create and develop land funds.

According to the approved Project, the organizational structure of the Son La Provincial Land Fund Development Center includes: Director and no more than 3 Deputy Directors; 3 specialized and professional departments (General and Financial Department; Land Fund Management and Development Department; Site Clearance and Service Department) and 11 regional branches spread across the province.
