After 9 months of implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo and 4 years of implementing Resolution No. 17-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the province's digital transformation work has achieved many positive results. Son La province has promptly disseminated, concretized, institutionalized and synchronously issued programs and plans to implement digital transformation in the province, creating a clear direction and roadmap for digital transformation for each year and the entire period up to 2030.

Thereby, the awareness of digital transformation of Party committees, authorities, cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, businesses and people in the area has had many clear changes, mobilizing the participation of many components and subjects in accordance with the motto "all people, comprehensive".

Son La province has focused on building a digital government on the basis of e-government, contributing to modernizing the administration and creating an open investment and business environment. The provincial electronic information portal and the electronic information pages of agencies and units continue to be upgraded and standardized to better serve the access to information of people and businesses. The direction, management and operation of authorities at all levels have been carried out in the digital environment.

Of which, 100% of conferences are held online with paperless meeting room software application; over 97% of administrative documents are digitally signed and issued entirely in electronic form; The province's administrative procedure settlement information system has been connected to the National Public Service Portal, the National Population Database, and the information systems of ministries and branches; the rate of administrative procedure records received online is over 90%.

Thanks to that, the digital economy has changed significantly, the proportion of added value of the digital economy in the province's GRDP has increased gradually each year, contributing 5.74% in 2021, 6.42% in 2022, 6.85% in 2023, and 6.76% in 2024 to the province's GRDP. Over 97% of businesses are declaring and paying taxes online; private enterprises and business households have applied information technology in production management, product quality, online sales; managing goods at supermarkets, stores and developing the market.

Effectively deploy programs and projects related to digital society. The rate of 4G mobile broadband coverage reached 96.26%; over 680,000 Son La people have successfully activated VNeID level 1 and level 2 electronic identification accounts, gradually becoming active factors participating in the province's digital transformation process. The emulation movement to implement digital transformation in the province in the period of 2021 - 2025 has been widely launched and deployed to all agencies, units and localities in the whole province. 100% of provincial departments and branches have completed 6/8 targets for developing digital government...

In his speech, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Viet, Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province, emphasized that digital transformation, administrative reform, science and technology development and innovation are important pillars, contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management, creating new momentum for socio-economic development of Son La province in the coming period. Agencies , units and localities need to launch and actively respond to the movement "Son La competes in innovation and digital transformation", proactively participate in the movements "Digital learning", "Digital literacy", promote learning on digital platforms to continuously improve awareness, skills and digital capacity, contributing to promoting innovation and comprehensive digital transformation in Son La.

At the conference, the Provincial People's Committee and Steering Committee 1287 of Son La province launched the emulation movement "Son La competes in innovation and digital transformation" for the period 2025 - 2030. Announced and introduced the Son La Provincial Digital Government Architecture Framework, version 4.0. Launched the Son La Movement to compete in innovation and digital transformation. Inaugurated the "Digital Popular Education Portal" of Son La province.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Son La province awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 collectives and 5 individuals for outstanding achievements in the digital transformation emulation movement in the province for the period 2021 - 2025 .
