Live healthy - Exchange trash for gifts, join hands to protect the environment

(CT) - On the morning of July 26, 2025, at An Khanh High School, Tan An Ward Youth Union (Can Tho City) coordinated with units: Green Leaf Club, Long Hung Bao Security Services Joint Stock Company, Can Tho City Union of Friendship Organizations and An Khanh High School to organize the program "Live healthy - Exchange trash for gifts, join hands to protect the environment in 2025".

Accordingly, 1kg of plastic waste will be converted into 1 point to receive gifts corresponding to the number of points. The activity attracted over 1,800 youth union members, students and residents to participate in exchanging waste for gifts with over 2,500 gifts given out.

On this occasion, Tan An Ward Youth Union, with the support of the accompanying unit, presented 2 bicycles, 2 scholarships and 10 gifts to students with difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties and studied well, with a total value of 40 million VND.

Students who overcome difficulties in studying are given bicycles.

Tan An ward leaders and sponsors award scholarships to students who overcome difficulties to study.

Students give used papers and notebooks to the collection force of Tan An Ward Youth Union.

Students receive notebooks after exchanging scrap and plastic waste.
