In recent years, the work of population, family planning and education of Division 371 has been focused on and implemented effectively. The Population, Family Planning and Education Board has been strengthened, improved and has a regular and effective operating regulation. Every year, a plan for population, family planning and education work is developed and implementation instructions are provided throughout the unit. The division has focused on promoting communication work, with rich and diverse content and knowledge suitable for each target group and many forms of propaganda, on all direct and indirect media. At the same time, the division has integrated the content of population, family planning and education work into the training program for new recruits in the units. In 3 years, 3 training courses and more than 11,000 thematic talks have been organized. The targets and tasks of population, family planning and education work in the division have basically met the set targets.

Notably: Population work and reproductive health care at the unit are always focused on and well implemented. 100% of women receive regular reproductive health check-ups, 100% of pregnant women receive 3 prenatal check-ups and are screened before giving birth. Family work is focused on, 98.9% of families meet the standards of cultural families, there are no cases of domestic violence. 100% of households in residential areas and collectives register to build cultural families.
Deploying support to help families of infertile soldiers, workers and defense officials working in toxic environments is guaranteed to be effective and targeted to the right subjects. Up to now, the unit has had 27 military families (out of 39 infertile military families) receive support with a total amount of more than 1.8 billion VND. Particularly from 2023 to now, the division has completed documents and proposed support for 17 infertile military families, of which 14 infertile military families have received support with an amount of 700 million VND...

Based on the unit's proposals, the Military Medical Department - Standing Agency of the Committee for Population, Family and Child Care of the Ministry of National Defense researched, consulted and synthesized opinions of agencies and units to amend this content in Decree 76 of the Government in the coming time.
On this occasion, the Committee for Population, Education and Children of the Ministry of National Defense presented 5 gifts to 5 children with special circumstances who are children of soldiers working at the unit.
