Major General Pham Van Ty was proposed to be awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces.

The Propaganda Department (General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army) issued Official Dispatch No. 6205/TH-TĐKT dated October 3, 2025 on publicly posting the list of proposals for consideration for conferment of the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces.

Implement the reward consideration process prescribed in Clause 2, Article 44 of Decree No. 152/2025/ND-CP dated June 14, 2025 of the Government regulating decentralization and delegation of powers in the field of emulation and rewards; detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Emulation and Rewards.

The Propaganda Department proposed to publicly post the individual proposed to be awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces to get opinions from organizations and individuals: Major General Pham Van Ty, Deputy Director of the Department of Rescue and Relief (General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army).

Public posting period within 10 working days: From October 6, 2025 to October 17, 2025.

After the time for comments has expired, the Agency is requested to notify in writing so that the Propaganda Department can synthesize and report according to regulations.
