On April 5, Prof. Dr. Pham Nhu Hiep - Director of Hue Central Hospital said that the unit has just set three records in organ transplants: liver, heart, kidney; saving the lives of 8 patients within 48 hours. After 5 hours of simultaneously performing 3 organ transplants, the patients are now stable and gradually recovering well. On the 3rd day after surgery, the 3 patients were extubated and fully conscious. Hemodynamic and biochemical indicators were stable, and organ function was good. At the same time, within 48 hours, the medical team of Hue Central Hospital successfully performed 5 other organ transplants, including 1 autologous kidney transplant and 4 other organ transplants. On April 5, the Nghe An Border Guard force informed that the unit had just broken up the NA1123 case, arresting two Laotian subjects while transporting 36,000 synthetic drug pills to Vietnam in Ai Khe village, Muong Ai commune, Ky Son district (Nghe An). According to initial statements, the subjects were hired by a man whose name and age were unknown to transport the drugs across the border for a fee of 6,000 USD. About eight out of 10 schools in the Gaza Strip have been damaged or destroyed, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) said on April 4, but it is the psychological toll the current conflict is taking on nearly 1.2 million children in the territory that experts are truly concerned about. According to UNICEF, since the conflict between Hamas and Israel broke out, at least 53 out of 563 schools in Gaza have been destroyed. On average, more than eight out of 10 schools have been damaged and 67% have been directly affected by the conflict. On April 4, a French court sentenced Audrey Mondjehi to 30 years in prison for assisting an Islamist extremist in carrying out an attack on a Christmas market in Strasbourg in 2018 that left five people dead. According to the prosecutor, Mondjehi, 42, of Ivorian origin, helped Cherif Chekatt - the perpetrator of the attack - obtain the gun used to carry out the attack in the center of Strasbourg. Mondjehi was one of four defendants who assisted Cherif Chekatt in carrying out the attack.
