To facilitate people's travel during the Lunar New Year 2025, Project Management Board 3 (Vietnam Road Administration) has made efforts to speed up the repair of Ho Bridge (Bac Ninh), carried out asphalt concrete paving of Ho Bridge (Km12 + 963, National Highway 38) and completed it on January 25.
Accordingly, from 11:00 p.m. on January 25, 2025 (26th of Tet), all vehicles are allowed to pass through Ho Bridge until further notice.
However, Project Management Board 3 also recommends that, due to the inability to construct the paint system and complete the road sign system, to ensure traffic safety, drivers are requested to pay attention and drive slowly when crossing the bridge. The authorities should increase patrols, control, and strictly handle violations of traffic safety laws here, ensuring safety for people to celebrate Tet and enjoy spring.
Ho Bridge across the Duong River on National Highway 38 connecting Tan Chi Commune (Tien Du District) and Ho Ward (Thuan Thanh Town) is a bridge with a vital position in connecting and promoting trade and travel of people north and south of the Duong River, contributing significantly to the socio -economic development of Bac Ninh Province.
For many years now, the Ho bridge surface has been in a state of serious degradation, with many potholes appearing. In some sections, the asphalt layer has peeled off, exposing the iron layer on the bridge surface, causing difficulties for traffic.
Based on the recommendations of the Traffic Safety Committee of Bac Ninh province, the Department of Transport, the People's Committee of Thuan Thanh town and Tien Du district, the Vietnam Road Administration will repair Ho bridge and prohibit all vehicles from circulating during the repair period, starting from November 24, 2024.
