This year's April 30th and May 1st holiday lasted 5 days, and Ninh Binh province's tourism industry increased its appeal to tourists by implementing many attractive activities and programs to promote and stimulate tourism.

Joining in the heroic atmosphere of national pride, on the very first day of the holiday, the Thung Nham ecological tourist area in Hai Nham village, Ninh Hai commune, Hoa Lu city, Ninh Binh province, was filled with celebrations for April 30th and May 1st, attracting a large number of locals and tourists.

Amidst the majestic mountain scenery, the themed decor celebrating the 50th anniversary of the reunification of the country evokes a range of surprising emotions, pride, and admiration in visitors.

Here, visitors can admire a model of the map of Vietnam constructed from hundreds of traditional conical hats, each hat a piece representing a region, culture, and people, all interconnected to form the shape of the country. Or the image of the North-South Reunification Train, a symbol of the journey of unity, the aspiration for peace, and the sacred unity of the Vietnamese nation.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen Thuong, from the Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area Management Board, said that the area is also decorated with vibrant check-in spots, rich in national colors, such as a path with red flags and yellow stars fluttering in the valley… All of these elements blend together to create a picture that is both lively and sacred, evoking national pride in each visitor. Through this, Thung Nham hopes that this year's holiday will not only be a memorable vacation but also a journey back to history, so that each person can better understand, love, and be proud of the country's historical traditions.

At the Trang An Eco-tourism Area, these days are also filled with many lively and meaningful activities such as: cheerful cultural performances to create video clips with the theme of the glorious Party and the great President Ho Chi Minh; boatmen meticulously attaching small flags to each boat, covering traditional conical hats with fabric printed with the Vietnamese national flag, or telling stories about the heroic history and proud patriotism to tourists during their journey of exploring the landscape;...

In particular, the Tourism Management Board collaborated with the "Vietnamese Women Connecting Across the World" group to organize the largest and most unique ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) fashion show ever. On the heritage river, more than 1000 women from all over the country, dressed in graceful green ao dai, created a breathtaking spectacle for viewers. The show set a Vietnamese record for "The program with the largest number of women wearing ao dai and conical hats participating in a boat trip on the river, with a message praising peace and protecting heritage."

This contributes to evoking and spreading national pride and sacred feelings in the hearts of every citizen and visitor regarding this momentous event of the nation.

The ao dai fashion show at Trang An attracted the attention of a large number of domestic and international tourists.

According to representatives of the Trang An Eco-tourism Area, a large number of tourists visited today, and it is expected that Trang An will attract hundreds of thousands of visitors during this holiday period. To ensure safe, civilized, flexible, and attentive service for tourists, the unit has mobilized more than 1,300 staff members to serve visitors throughout the holiday; actively implemented online ticket sales via website, opened additional flexible ticket counters, posted QR codes for automatic operation instructions, and provided on-site support staff; organized lane separation, provided free fans and drinking water, and assigned medical staff on duty during peak periods; and ensured continuous boat arrivals and departures.

This year's April 30th and May 1st holidays are considered a golden opportunity for Ninh Binh province's tourism industry to attract tourists. Through artistic activities, sports, and interaction with nature, the Festival not only creates emotionally rich experiences but also brings heritage into contemporary life in a vibrant and meaningful way; unleashing potential and promoting the strong development of cultural tourism in Ninh Binh.

Mr. Pham Duy Phong, Deputy Director of the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism, said that with many tourism events being organized, the number of visitors to Ninh Binh is expected to increase significantly. To better serve tourists during the holiday period, the department has established specialized and inter-departmental inspection teams operating continuously before and during the holiday; set up an online information channel to receive feedback; publicly listed reputable accommodation establishments and restaurants for easy reference; and directed tourist areas, attractions, and accommodation establishments to upgrade facilities, ensure safety, security, order, environmental hygiene, and civilized and courteous behavior in tourism activities.
