The Polish goalkeeper is now considering staying at Barcelona and confirmed the club offered him a two-year contract extension before the summer transfer window opened. Szczesny is confident he can compete with Ter Stegen for a starting spot next season.
"I have not hidden that I have received a two-year extension offer from the club, but I need to discuss it with my family to find the best option for us. I think I need to consider it with my family, with my wife, so I have not made a decision yet," Szczesny revealed.
