According to Forbes ' update this morning (October 11), billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong has assets of 18.1 billion USD, an increase of 1 billion USD compared to the previous day and ranked 131st in the list of the richest people in the world. This is the first time in history that a Vietnamese person has reached this level of assets. Compared to the beginning of March according to the list of world USD billionaires announced by Forbes, Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong's assets have increased nearly 3 times, equivalent to an increase of about 11.6 billion USD. In addition, the assets of Mr. Vuong's wife, Ms. Pham Thu Huong, have also skyrocketed. With the ownership of more than 170.6 million VIC shares, Ms. Huong's assets are currently worth more than 32,755 billion VND, equivalent to more than 1.24 billion USD. Since the beginning of the year, her assets have increased by more than 25,000 billion VND. Thus, billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong's wife is the second female USD billionaire in Vietnam, after Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Vietjet Air.

According to Forbes estimates, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao owns assets worth 3.5 billion USD and ranks 1,148th in the list of world billionaires. Compared to the beginning of this year, the female billionaire has pocketed an additional 1 billion USD. Similarly, the assets of Hoa Phat Group Chairman, Mr. Tran Dinh Long also reached 3 billion USD - the highest ever.

Techcombank Chairman Ho Hung Anh alone has assets of 2.6 billion USD and billionaire Nguyen Dang Quang - Chairman of Masan Group also has assets of 1.2 billion USD, the high level in August.
