Two buses are said to have fought over passengers and forced each other onto the sidewalk.

Previously, a clip posted on social media recorded images of two buses chasing each other on Highway 1 (the border between Ho Chi Minh City and Tay Ninh), causing many vehicles on the road to avoid them for fear of a traffic accident.

Accordingly, bus 62G-00531 running on the Cho Lon-Thanh Vinh Dong route and bus 51B-26984 running on the Long An-Cho Lon route were traveling on the national highway, when they reached the above section, they both drove recklessly to pull over to pick up passengers. The two buses did not yield to each other but instead competed and pushed each other, causing both buses to climb onto the sidewalk.

One of the two buses was damaged.

Many passengers on the two buses panicked and left the vehicles after the two vehicles stopped. Not only that, after forcing each other to the side of the road, the drivers of the two buses also loudly cursed at each other, causing chaos on the entire road.

According to a representative of Long An Passenger Station Joint Stock Company, the behavior of the two drivers while moving the vehicle to pick up and drop off passengers as above violated the Traffic Safety Law. The Company is coordinating with the Police to take statements from the drivers to clarify and handle the matter.
