(Dan Tri) - According to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training, Nghe An students have the highest score in the 2025 high school graduation exam in literature with over 8 points.

The 2025 high school graduation exam score distribution for literature this year has many special things. No candidate scored 10 points, but 301 candidates scored 9.5-9.75 points. The average score of 1.126 million candidates is 7.0 points.

Notably, in the top 10 provinces with the highest average score in literature, Nghe An leads with 8,035 points. The total number of candidates in Nghe An is about 39,000.

The other 9 provinces and cities in the top 10 are: Ha Tinh, Hanoi , Thanh Hoa, Can Tho, Phu Tho, Hue, Quang Ninh, An Giang and Ho Chi Minh City.

This ranking is missing familiar provinces and cities such as Nam Dinh , Ninh Binh, and Ha Nam.

Professor Nguyen Dinh Duc - Principal of the University of Technology (Hanoi National University) - commented: "I was surprised because with what candidates reflected, I thought the score distribution would be very low. However, in reality, the score distribution does not fluctuate too much and has good differentiation, suitable for university admissions."

Professor Duc was also surprised when Hanoi entered the top of most rankings for the first time. "This shows the right investment in the capital's education," said Professor Nguyen Dinh Duc.
