Noi Bai Airport officially applies non-stop toll collection on all lanes

Accordingly, the system of cashless collection lanes and automatic collection of non-stop car parking services at Noi Bai International Airport has completed the trial operation period and is officially applied throughout the port.

In which, at Passenger Terminal T1, there are 9 entry lanes and 10 exit lanes; stable non-stop toll collection has been applied since the beginning of December 2024.

At Passenger Terminal T2, there are 7 entry lanes and 11 exit lanes, and efforts are being made to complete the final stages to ensure the system operates smoothly from December 20, 2024.

Accepted payment methods when using non-stop toll lanes include: traffic toll collection accounts (VETC/VDTC); using bank cards, payment via QR code, e-wallet; payment in cash.

Through monitoring and statistics, the cashless collection system and the automatic collection system for non-stop car parking services at Passenger Terminals T1 and T2 operate stably, ensuring correct calculation and accurate collection of service fees, saving time for customers and overcoming local congestion at toll stations during peak hours.

Currently, all lanes accept mixed collection methods. In the near future, when there is data on the rate of vehicles using ETC cards to pay at the port, Noi Bai International Airport will implement the planning of pure ETC toll lanes and mixed toll lanes to shorten the time for vehicles to pass through the station.

What should drivers pay attention to?

To help cars enter and exit the airport quickly and conveniently, representatives of Noi Bai International Airport noted that vehicle owners need to check and ensure that their vehicles have non-stop toll tags and that their non-stop toll accounts have enough money to pay the service fee.

Vehicle owners also need to ensure that their license plates are not dirty, warped, or blurred to increase the camera's recognition rate when the vehicle enters the station. Vehicles with ETC cards with enough money will have their fees automatically deducted and pass through quickly, without having to stop and cause congestion for the vehicles behind.

With the official application of all automatic toll lanes before Christmas and New Year, Noi Bai airport representatives expect there will be no congestion at toll collection points as before.

The project of cashless collection and automatic collection of non-stop car parking services invested by Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) has been approved for implementation at 21 airports managed by ACV.

Currently, there are 5 airports that have successfully implemented this conversion including: Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, Da Nang , Cat Bi and Phu Bai.
