The semiconductor industry plays an important role, the foundation that shapes the development of many different fields in the global economy ; is the premise, the driving force to promote the trend of green transformation, digital transformation, and knowledge-based development of the world.

Therefore, promoting research, investment and development of the semiconductor industry is becoming a new "race" between countries and economies in the 21st century.

Currently, the Government is particularly interested in promoting investment cooperation and developing the semiconductor industry in Vietnam, building a project to develop high-quality human resources with the goal of forming a team of 50,000 engineers by 2030.

In an interview with the People's Representative Newspaper, Prof. Dr. Phan Manh Huong - Professor of Physics, University of South Florida (USA) gave many comments on the issue of building high-quality human resources in the field of semiconductor microchips in Vietnam.
