Temporarily suspending tourism activities at Son Tra peninsula

The announcement stated that due to the influence of storm No. 1 (storm Wutip), on June 11 and 12, 2025, Son Tra peninsula experienced prolonged heavy rain, with some landslides, rolling rocks, and fallen trees posing a potential risk to the safety of residents and visitors. To ensure the safety of residents and visitors, the Management Board respectfully announces the temporary suspension of tours at Son Tra peninsula until further notice.

The specific routes that are not allowed to be visited are as follows: Yet Kieu - Ban Co Peak - Bai Bac route: the section from the first guard station to Bai Bac intersection (in front of the Intercontinental Resort); Bai Bac - Cay Da route: the section from in front of the Intercontinental Resort to Cay Da Heritage; Tien Sa route: the section from the first guard station (in front of Company 4 - Regiment 224) to the intersection connecting the asphalt road to Ban Co Peak.

Regarding Hoang Sa route from the intersection of Hoang Sa - Le Van Luong to the front of the Intercontinental Resort, the functional unit is currently handling and repairing landslides. The Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches recommends that people and tourists limit traffic on this route until the weather stabilizes again.
