Some electronic tax applications suspended from May 23 to June 15

In an urgent notice signed on May 14, the Tax Department said that from May 23 to June 15, it will temporarily suspend a number of tax applications to move the main data center to a new location.

Accordingly, the downtime to convert the application system from the main data center environment to the backup data center environment and vice versa includes the e-invoice application, e-tax service and transmission axis.

Specifically, the electronic invoice application will be suspended from 0:00 to 04:00 on May 24 and from 0:00 to 04:00 on June 14. The electronic tax service application and the transmission axis will be suspended from 18:00 on May 23 to 16:00 on May 25 and from 18:00 on June 13 to 16:00 on June 15.

In addition, the Tax Department's application system is operated at the backup data center with 70% performance compared to the main data center including:

Electronic invoice application is from 4:00 a.m. on May 24 to 0:00 a.m. on June 14.

The application of electronic tax services and the transmission axis is from 4:00 p.m. on May 25 to 6:00 p.m. on June 13.

The time for the Tax Department's application system to resume operation on the main data center with the electronic invoice application is from 4:00 a.m. on June 14; the electronic tax service application and transmission axis is from 4:00 p.m. on June 15.

Regarding the scope of impact during the system suspension period, the Tax Department informs taxpayers to temporarily stop using the electronic invoice application and electronic tax service application.

In which, the electronic tax service application includes electronic tax service for businesses (eTax); electronic tax service for individuals (iCanhan); electronic tax service on mobile devices (eTax Mobile); E-commerce information portal;

Electronic information portal for foreign suppliers; electronic tax services on the National Public Service Portal, Ministry of Finance Public Service Portal, Provincial Public Service Portal.

Previously, from 5:00 p.m. on March 12 to 8:00 a.m. on March 17, the Tax Department also temporarily suspended a number of electronic tax systems to upgrade and convert when rearranging tax agencies.
