After a period of monitoring and implementing measures to manage the area, combined with reports from the people, on November 29, Market Management Team No. 2 coordinated with the Economic Police of Ý Yên district to conduct a surprise inspection of a business establishment owned by Mr. T.Đ.K in Yên Bằng commune (Ý Yên district, Nam Định province).
The inspection team discovered 21,000 stationery products on display at the store, including: ballpoint pens, plastic wallets for documents; on the packaging of the goods there was no information showing the origin of the goods. Mr. T.D.K confessed to buying goods floating on the market for business purposes.
During the inspection, Mr. T.D.K could not present invoices, vouchers and papers related to the goods, the value of the goods was nearly 50 million VND. Regarding legal procedures, Mr. T.D.K was doing business as a business household but did not register to establish a business household in the case that registration is required according to regulations.
After that, the inspection team sealed and temporarily detained all the violating goods to complete the dossier for handling according to the provisions of law.
