Temporarily detained 90 cylinders suspected of being laughing gas

Authorities count seized evidence suspected to be N20 gas

– At 20:45, July 15, at Lang Giai A village, Nhan Ly commune, Chi Lang district, Market Management Team No. 4 coordinated with the Economic Police Team of Chi Lang district police to inspect a FORD pickup truck, license plate 14C-257.xx traveling from Hanoi to Lang Son, driven by Mr. Le Nguyen K, born in 1998, address zone 3, Phu Chuan, Tu Son town, Bac Ninh province.

At the time of vehicle inspection, the authorities discovered 90 blue and yellow metal cylinders of gas, suspected to be N20 (laughing gas), hidden in the driver's compartment (rear seats) and in the trunk of the vehicle: 80 cylinders of 12kg/cylinder; 10 cylinders of 18kg/cylinder.

Through verification and direct work, Mr. K admitted to being a hired transporter and could not present invoices, documents proving the origin and other papers related to all of the above goods.

Market Management Team No. 4 coordinated with relevant authorities to seal and temporarily detain all goods on the same vehicle to continue verifying and handling according to the provisions of law.
