Strengthening academic cooperation between the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam and Austria

On January 16, in Vienna, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Republic of Austria Vu Le Thai Hoang, greeted Ms. Martina Schubert, Deputy Director of the Austrian Diplomatic Academy.

Thanking Ms. Schubert for taking the time to meet him, Ambassador Vu Le Thai Hoang expressed his honor to be appointed as Ambassador of Vietnam to the Republic of Austria.

The Ambassador conveyed to Ms. Schubert outstanding information about Vietnam's socio-economic development in recent times, towards the goal of becoming a developed, prosperous country and an active, responsible member of the international community.

Both sides highly appreciated the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Austria, which is built on the foundation of friendship and mutual trust.

Ambassador Vu Le Thai Hoang expressed his deep gratitude and wished that the Governments and peoples of the two countries would continue to strengthen comprehensive cooperation, especially in areas where Austria has strengths such as finance, services, high technology and innovation, climate change, digital transformation, green transformation,education and training, etc., thereby helping Vietnam realize its strategic goals by 2030 and 2045, entering a new era, striving to become rich and prosperous.

Ambassador Vu Le Thai Hoang proposed strengthening academic cooperation between the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam and the Diplomatic Academy of Austria - the world's leading prestigious diplomatic training institution with a history of more than two centuries.

On this occasion, Ambassador Vu Le Thai Hoang met and interacted with students of the Diplomatic Academy of Austria on the topic "Vietnam pursues strategic autonomy in a changing world".
