At Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC), DOJI Group and Bao Tin Minh Chau all listed gold prices at 98 million VND/ounce (buying) and 99.5 million VND/ounce (selling). Today's gold price increased by 1.3 million VND/ounce in both buying and selling prices compared to the close of yesterday's trading session.
At Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, the buying price of SJC gold is 98 million VND/ounce and the selling price is 99.5 million VND/ounce. Thus, compared to the previous session, the buying price of gold remained unchanged, while the selling price decreased by 200,000 VND/ounce.

Regarding gold rings, Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) listed the price of SJC gold rings (1-5 tael) at 98.2 - 99.7 million VND/tael, an increase of 1.2 million VND/tael in both buying and selling prices compared to the morning of the same day.
The price of 9999 Hung Thinh Vuong gold rings at DOJI is currently listed at 98.8 - 100.3 million VND/ounce, an increase of 1.8 million VND/ounce in the buying price and 1.2 million VND/ounce in the selling price compared to the beginning of the trading session on the same day.
Thus, this is the time when the price of gold rings and gold bars is at its highest level to date. Experts believe that the price of gold has risen far beyond the previous predictions of many people.

According to Kitco, the spot price of gold in the world market at 4:00 AM Vietnam time today was $3,034.44 USD/ounce. Today's gold price increased by 0.05% compared to yesterday. Converted using the USD exchange rate on the free market (25,836 VND/USD), the world gold price is approximately 94.5 million VND/ounce (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is currently 5 million VND/ounce higher than the international gold price.

Gold prices were largely unchanged, after hitting a new record high earlier in the day as demand for safe-haven assets continued to rise. Investors are awaiting the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision, expected later in the day.
Spot gold prices fell 0.1% to $3,030.13 per ounce as of 9:35 a.m. ET (13:35 GMT).
Gold bullion surged to an all-time high of $3,045.24 in the previous trading session, marking its 15th record high this year. US gold futures also fell 0.1% to $3,038.00.
Bart Melek, head of commodity strategy at TD Securities, said: “There are concerns that tariffs could fuel inflation. Despite the price increase due to U.S. tariffs, many still believe the Fed could begin easing policy around mid-year.”
US President Donald Trump increased import tariffs on steel and aluminum to 25%, effective last week, and announced that he would apply new reciprocal and industry-specific tariffs starting April 2nd.
Gold, often seen as a safe investment during times of inflation or economic instability, has risen more than 15% year-to-date.
In geopolitical terms, Russia and Ukraine accused each other of violating the new agreement not to attack energy targets, just hours after a phone call between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Mr. Melek added: "I predict the price of gold will fluctuate around the current level, possibly with a difference of about $25."
Currently, investors are focusing on the US central bank's policy decision later in the day, along with comments from Fed Chairman Jerome Powell. Traders anticipate the Fed will keep the benchmark interest rate unchanged this month, and that rate cuts could resume in June.
Gold becomes more attractive when interest rates are low, as it is a non-interest-bearing asset.
Spot silver prices fell 1.2% to $33.61 per ounce; platinum lost 1.6% to $980.90; and palladium declined 0.8% to $959.20.
