Giving gifts to war invalids, martyrs' relatives, and people with serious illnesses

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 16 and 17, the Quang Binh Association in Hanoi coordinated with the Quang Tri Province Association for the Support of Poor Patients to organize gift giving to war invalids, relatives of martyrs, and meritorious people with serious illnesses and difficult circumstances in the communes of Trung Thuan, Tuyen Hoa, Phong Nha, Ninh Chau, and Tan My.

At the places visited and presented gifts, leaders of the Association for Supporting Poor Patients of Quang Tri Province and the Quang Binh Association in Hanoi kindly asked about the health and life of war invalids, martyrs’ relatives, and meritorious people suffering from serious illnesses and difficult circumstances; at the same time expressed deep gratitude and directly presented 75 gifts, with a total value of 75 million VND.

This is a practical and meaningful work, showing the heart and affection of our fellow countrymen in Hanoi with the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", showing gratitude to those who have contributed. Through that, we share difficulties and encourage war invalids, relatives of martyrs, and those who have contributed to overcoming illness and old age to live happily and healthily, continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, and set a good example for our children and grandchildren to follow.
