Exactly half a century ago, on August 4, 1975, the Technical Newsletter - the predecessor of the current Military Industry and Economics Magazine was published under Decision No. 42/QD of the Chief of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.

Colonel, journalist Le Thiet Hung, Editor-in-Chief of Defense Industry and Economics Magazine, delivered a speech at the ceremony.

Over the years, the Magazine has continued to improve the overall quality of both content and form, innovate and develop according to the general trend of the country and the press industry. The Magazine always adheres to the propaganda policies and orientations, closely follows the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the Head of the General Department of Defense Industry and the Magazine's Steering Council.

Over 50 years of construction and development, the Military Industry and Economy Magazine has constantly innovated and developed comprehensively in terms of content, form and communication methods, becoming a prestigious specialized press agency in the Army, a trusted forum for the military industry and economic development forces.

Authorized by the President , Lieutenant General Dinh Quoc Hung, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the General Department of Defense Industry, awarded the Defense Industry and Economics Magazine the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal.

The articles always closely follow the practical activities of the defense industry as well as economic development units in the entire army, contributing to building institutions for defense industry development, summarizing experiences, spreading good practices and good models; discovering problems and difficulties from practice; recommending, proposing, reflecting voices from the grassroots, helping leaders and commanders of the General Department have more information, thereby having timely direction and resolution.

Over the past 50 years, the CNQP and Economics Magazine has been awarded many noble awards, including 2 Third Class Fatherland Protection Medals; 2 Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister; 5 Certificates of Merit from the Minister of National Defense; many Certificates of Merit from the General Department of Politics, General Department of Defense Industry. The magazine has won a silver prize at the National Television Festival; many gold and silver prizes at the National Television Festivals... To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the CNQP and Economics Magazine's tradition, the Minister of National Defense sent a letter of commendation.

At the ceremony, authorized by the President, Lieutenant General Dinh Quoc Hung awarded the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal to the Magazine.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Dinh Quoc Hung emphasized that the Magazine needs to maintain its principles and goals, actively innovate presentation methods, maintain its pioneering role, take the lead in propaganda, encouragement, motivation, and promote the completion of the General Department's tasks.
