2026 marks the third consecutive year that CMC Telecom has partnered with the tournament as a "Technology Partner". Simultaneously, the company has 38 athletes participating in various categories, from Relay Team and Half IRONMAN 70.3 to Full IRONMAN 140.6. CMC Telecom's team also made it into the TOP 3 of the Corporate Challenge – a category for companies with outstanding sports activities.
Notably, this year marks the first time Vietnam has hosted the Full IRONMAN 140.6 race – a world- renowned endurance challenge with a total distance of 226 km, including 3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling, and a 42.2 km marathon. CMC Telecom has three members who directly conquered this milestone.
Three years of partnership with IRONMAN as a "Technology Partner".
2026 marks the first time Vietnam will host the Full IRONMAN 140.6 distance – meaning the scale of the event will be elevated to a completely different level. Not only will the number of athletes increase significantly and the race duration be longer, but the entire underlying technology system must also meet the stringent operational standards of an international endurance race.
As the "Technology Partner" for three consecutive years, CMC Telecom is responsible for the connectivity infrastructure for the season, meeting high demands for stability, continuous processing capabilities, and data security.
From registration systems and data transmission to real-time results updates and the digital experience for athletes and organizers, every operation needs to run smoothly with absolute precision.
With its digital infrastructure ecosystem including Internet, Data Center, Cloud, and Cyber Security, CMC Telecom has partnered with the organizers of the Ironman Da Nang 2026 to build a "technology-driven race track" that ensures the highest level of success for the event.
When tech professionals step directly onto the race track.
What sets CMC Telecom apart is how sportsmanship has become an integral part of the corporate culture of its tech employees. Over the years, despite the high intensity of work in the digital infrastructure sector, CMC Telecom's team participating in training for Ironman Vietnam races has consistently maintained a size of around 30-40 people each year.
They are not professional athletes; they are still full-time employees balancing work, family, and months-long training schedules. But this very journey clearly reflects the "Nothing is Impossible" spirit that CMC Telecom has pursued for many years. This spirit is embedded in the company's core values: Speed, Professionalism, Commitment, Innovation, and Customer Focus.
These values are reflected in the way the team operates and protects digital infrastructure for customers, pursuing rigorous standards, stability, and the highest level of responsibility.
An IronMan race cannot be completed on a whim. The same is true for work in the technology infrastructure industry. Both require discipline, the ability to withstand pressure, perseverance, and a never-give-up attitude in the face of personal limitations.
That's also why CMC Telecom chose to partner with IRONMAN for three consecutive years as a technology partner. For CMC Telecom, this is not simply about providing infrastructure support for a sporting event, but also about a strong commitment to the synergy between technology and sports.
In an industry often associated with machines, data, and operational pressure, the people at CMC Telecom are showcasing a different side of tech professionals: disciplined, energetic, and always ready to push boundaries.
