Driver Pham Van Hoan also shared: "I often transport agricultural products (durian) for export at border gates in Quang Ninh, Lao Cai, Lang Son, Cao Bang .... When arriving at Thanh Thuy International Border Gate, customs procedures are carried out very quickly. The functional forces at the border gate create favorable conditions for support, there are no difficulties or problems. If the documents are complete, it only takes about 20 minutes for the vehicle to clear customs."
Not only creating conditions for goods export activities, the authorities also facilitate people to visit the border gate during the holidays of April 30 and May 1. |
In order to meet the customs clearance needs of enterprises, functional forces at the border gate such as Customs, Border Guard, Quarantine... have organized 24/24 duty, arranged staff to work in rotation, ensuring that there is no congestion or delay in goods. Comrade Nguyen Bich Thuy, Deputy Head of the Thanh Thuy International Border Gate Customs Team said: "Customs officers are arranged to work according to a full plan and actively promote administrative reform, creating favorable conditions for enterprises to carry out customs procedures. For green lane goods, we monitor the goods by vehicle, without having to present documents. For yellow lane goods, enterprises only have 2 minutes to handle related administrative procedures. In addition, the Customs agency always coordinates well with functional forces in the area, thereby contributing to facilitating administrative reform and reducing customs clearance time for enterprises".
According to the authorities, in recent days, an average of 50-60 container trucks carrying agricultural products for export have passed through Thanh Thuy International Border Gate. At 4:00 p.m. on May 1, the number of trucks carrying exported goods through the border gate was still normal. Many container trucks carrying durian are waiting for customs clearance procedures and are arranged at the Customs parking lot and along the route to the Thanh Thuy International Border Gate Inter-sectoral Control Station. The Border Guard assigned officers to regulate vehicles to ensure traffic safety in the border gate area.
Proactively maintaining export activities during the holidays not only helps businesses sell goods in a timely manner, but also demonstrates the high sense of responsibility of Ha Giang province's authorities in promoting border trade and ensuring the supply chain is not disrupted.
