Despite the heavy rain, the 6th "Sharing Love - Compassion in Thu Dau Mot" program - 2025 - still proceeded as planned.

From early afternoon, officials from the Fatherland Front, women's associations in the neighborhoods, and philanthropists gathered at an office in Thu Dau Mot ward to prepare heartwarming and meaningful meals.

After a few hours of preparation, 1,000 bowls of chicken noodle soup and 1,000 bottles of high-quality, food-safe herbal drinks were ready to serve disadvantaged people in the area.

A large number of elderly people in difficult circumstances, lottery ticket vendors, and scrap collectors lined up to participate in the "Sharing Love - Compassion in Thu Dau Mot" program.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Giup, 78 years old, residing in Phu Cuong 4 neighborhood, emotionally shared: “The noodle soup is delicious. I've already eaten one bowl and want to ask for more to take home for my grandchild to help with the cost of their afternoon meal.” Ms. Nguyen Thi Ba, from Phu Cuong 1 neighborhood, shared: “I sell lottery tickets. Hearing about the program, I had a vegetarian sandwich at lunchtime to save room for the chicken noodle soup.”

Mrs. Ba was very happy and touched to receive the steaming bowl of chicken noodle soup. Like hundreds of other struggling workers, she expressed her gratitude to the ward leaders and the members who had helped cook these warm and meaningful meals.
Amidst the drizzling rain, joyful smiles further warmed the vibrant atmosphere. Giving is receiving; the sincere gratitude of the poor and disadvantaged people is a great source of encouragement for all sectors and organizations to continue working together to ensure social welfare for the people.
