Vietnam National Petroleum Group donated 1,100 Ecozen-25 water filters to poor households in Dong Hung commune.

On the afternoon of October 7, Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) coordinated with SIPCO Investment Promotion and Sustainable Development Company and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province to organize a program to distribute water filtration equipment for community action and climate change in Dong Hung commune.

On the afternoon of October 7, Vietnam National Petroleum Group ( Petrolimex ) coordinated with Investment Promotion and Sustainable Development Company SIPCO and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province to organize a program to distribute water filtration equipment for community action and climate change in Dong Hung commune.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee together with representatives of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group presented the symbol of the program to distribute water filtration equipment for community action and climate change to communes in Hung Yen province.

Attending the program were comrades: Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ngo Thi Kim Hoan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Luu Van Tuyen, General Director of Vietnam National Petroleum Group.

Provincial leaders and leaders of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group presented water filtration equipment to households in difficult circumstances in Dong Hung commune.

At the program, provincial leaders and representatives of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group presented 1,100 Ecozen-25 water filters to poor households affected by storms and floods, helping people access clean water, ensure health and prevent diseases after natural disasters.   Households are instructed on how to install and use the water filtration equipment provided. This is a program of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group to concretize the action plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, towards the Group's goal of carbon neutrality and Net Zero according to the Government 's direction.

Vietnam National Petroleum Group supports the "For the Poor" Fund of Dong Hung commune.

Also at the program, Vietnam National Petroleum Group donated 500 million VND to the "For the Poor" Fund and 500 million VND to the Dong Hung Commune Education Promotion Fund.

The program of distributing water filtration equipment for community action and climate change was carried out in Hung Yen province in the communes of Dong Hung, Thai Thuy, Duc Hop, Chau Ninh. Thereby, demonstrating responsibility to society and the community, affirming the pioneering position of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group in social security activities when becoming the first Vietnamese enterprise to deploy a large-scale water filtration equipment distribution program nationwide.
