After inspecting the scene, Director of Lam Dong PC Phan Sy Duy requested all forces to continue to concentrate, coordinate smoothly, and maintain safety principles in implementation.
He also emphasized absolute safety assurance in all construction stages in an effort to quickly restore power to the people.
The Director of PC Lam Dong noted two parallel tasks: Strengthening troubleshooting and proactively reviewing the damage to staff and workers due to natural disasters. From there, there will be timely support plans, especially for difficult cases with heavy damage to property and houses.
It is known that immediately after the flood, PC Lam Dong mobilized maximum force, materials and equipment to fix the problem. The regional power management teams were on duty 24/7, both partially restoring the power grid and isolating deeply flooded areas to ensure the safety of people and the task force.
The Electricity Industry has now handled most of the collapsed poles, completing the restoration of power supply to 12,150 customers. About 50 remaining households, mainly irrigation pumping stations in deep-lying areas, will have their power restored as soon as the water level recedes. The unit is urgently replacing 2,345 submerged meters to ensure safe operation after the flood.
