On November 26, Ms. Nguy Nhu Thi Bich Tram, Vice President of the Danang Women Entrepreneurs Club (in charge of the southern region) said: Witnessing the damage and loss caused by floods in the South Central - Central Highlands provinces in recent days, especially in the old Phu Yen area, now Dak Lak province, the Club posted information calling for support on social networks.
This activity received enthusiastic response from the sisters in the Club, people and benefactors inside and outside the city, as well as overseas Vietnamese.
“In just 4 days, we received 10 tons of goods including: rice, cakes, milk, blankets, mosquito nets, old clothes, school supplies and many other necessities.
Everything is classified and packaged to be sent to people in Phu Hoa 1 commune, Dak Lak province - an area heavily affected by the recent floods," said Ms. Tram.

With a huge volume of goods, the Danang Women Entrepreneurs Club has divided the goods into 4 gathering and classification points.
At each location, many women participated in the support. Not only club members but also friends, relatives, neighbors, students, youth union members, etc. also put aside their work to join hands in preparing gifts to support people affected by natural disasters.
Ms. Ngo Thi Thanh Tam, Deputy Director of Mobifone Quang Nam, shared: “When there was information about the activities to support people in flood-affected areas, the women in the Club responded enthusiastically. I myself also mobilized and donated more at my work unit.
Brothers and sisters at Mobifone Quang Nam and the Youth Union mobilized nearly 7 million VND for this activity; at the same time participated in classifying and packaging support goods, with the desire to share difficulties with people in flood-affected areas.

On the afternoon of November 26, 1,200 gifts were gathered and loaded onto vehicles to go to support the people. The Danang Women Entrepreneurs Club also supported 150 white ao dai and school supplies for high school students in Phu Hoa 1 commune (Dak Lak province).
“This is the first shipment of support. Many donors have registered to support and the Club will continue to receive, classify, and package the gifts to organize more trips to flood victims in the near future,” Ms. Bich Tram added.
