A representative of Yanmar Group said that the unit has strengths in the field of manufacturing mechanical products for agricultural production; is implementing a number of pilot projects on data collection in agriculture, digitizing data related to productivity and agricultural production area in a number of countries.
Yanmar Group wishes to cooperate with Dong Thap province and the Mekong Delta provinces in the field of agricultural and mechanical digitalization.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Phuoc Thien highly appreciated the cooperation plan of Yanmar Group for Dong Thap province. At the same time, he said that Dong Thap is promoting the application of mechanization and digital transformation in agriculture, to help farmers be more convenient in production, save costs and increase profits on the same unit of production area.
