Training on photography skills and writing stories about change for a group of parents with children aged 0 to 10 years old

Implementing the 2024 cooperation agreement between the Quang Tri Provincial Women's Union and Plan Organization on the project "Gender-responsible parenting in comprehensive child care and development in Quang Tri province", on May 28 and 29, the Provincial Women's Union coordinated with Plan Organization in Quang Tri to organize a training course on photography skills and writing stories about changes for the group of parents with children from 0 to 10 years old.

The training course was attended by 35 trainees who are officials of the provincial and district Women's Unions and volunteers from 15 project communes in Huong Hoa and Dakrong districts. At the training course, trainees were equipped by lecturers from Plan Vietnam with knowledge on how to write news, good people and good deeds, and stories about the most meaningful changes.

At the same time, instructions on how to use a camera, take press photos; methods of creating works; practice writing news, articles, taking photos; interviewing skills to exploit stories; policies to ensure safety for participants, and filming in stories. In addition, students also have a field trip to the facility to practice the skills that have been imparted.
