Recently, the Center for Agricultural Extension and Forest Protection and Development Management of Quang Ninh province, in coordination with the Department of Economy , Infrastructure and Urban Development and the Farmers' Association of An Sinh ward, organized a training course on intensive cultivation techniques for custard apple trees according to VietGAP standards.
The training course was attended by representatives from specialized agencies, along with 30 households participating in the model and other households interested in developing custard apple cultivation for commercial purposes and high quality.

During the training course, technical staff guided the people on the process of planting and caring for custard apple trees in a sustainable intensive farming manner; techniques for pruning, shaping the canopy, and inducing staggered flowering to improve productivity, extend the harvesting period, and increase the value of the product.
In addition, households were also updated on knowledge about integrated pest and disease management, the safe and effective use of fertilizers and pesticides according to VietGAP standards, and were informed about the plan for implementing the new custard apple tree planting project in 2026.
During the training, many questions and concerns related to cultivation techniques, flowering management, pest and disease control, and product marketing were directly discussed by the farmers with the instructors for guidance and resolution.
Through the training course, local people have improved their knowledge and skills in producing safe custard apples according to VietGAP standards, creating a foundation for developing concentrated fruit-growing areas, increasing income, and moving towards sustainable agricultural production.
