VHO - A training course on decentralization and authority determination in the field of culture, sports and tourism in 2025 has just opened at the School of Cultural, Sports and Tourism Management (Phu Dien, Hanoi).

This morning, September 18, the School of Cultural, Sports and Tourism Management Officers coordinated with the Legal Department (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) to organize a training course to update knowledge and raise awareness of decentralization and authority determination in the field of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The training course took place over 2 days (September 18-19), with the participation of many leaders of the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Departments of Tourism of provinces and cities; leaders of specialized departments, leaders of centers on Culture, Sports and Tourism under the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Departments of Tourism of provinces and cities; leaders of training and research facilities under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The training course aims to update knowledge and raise awareness of decentralization and authority determination in the field of culture, sports and tourism.

The training course has the participation of experts and lecturers with practical experience and deep expertise to contribute to the effective implementation of the two-level local government organization model.

Speaking at the opening of the training course, Dr. Pham Que Anh, Principal of the School of Cultural, Sports and Tourism Management, said that in the context of institutional innovation and administrative reform receiving special attention from the Party and State, decentralization and delegation of state management authority play an increasingly important role in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of management, promoting the initiative and creativity of all levels, sectors and localities.

According to Dr. Pham Que Anh, Culture, Sports and Tourism is a comprehensive field, related to many levels, many sectors and has a direct impact on social life.

Therefore, reasonable, synchronous and clear decentralization and delegation of power is an inevitable requirement to improve the effectiveness of state management and at the same time better promote the roles and responsibilities of authorities at all levels.

“In response to that request, the School of Cultural, Sports and Tourism Management Officers coordinated with the Department of Legislation (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) to organize a training course on decentralization and authority assignment in the field of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2025 with practical significance, aiming to provide information, update knowledge, share experiences, thereby improving the capacity to advise and organize the implementation of decentralization and authority assignment in a more effective and practical manner,” Dr. Pham Que Anh emphasized.
