Intellectual property training

On May 26th, the Department of Science and Technology, in collaboration with S&D Research and Investment Co., Ltd., organized an intensive training course on intellectual property (IP) for officials in state agencies, science and technology organizations, and small and medium-sized enterprises, with the theme "The Role of IP in Innovation Activities".

At the training session, delegates heard experts provide an overview of the role of intellectual property rights in socio-economic development; the copyright of organizations and individuals in scientific works; the process of creating, registering, protecting, and exploiting inventions; some regulations on intellectual property protection; principles in establishing intellectual property rights; intellectual property management in enterprises, etc.

This will contribute to improving the effectiveness of state management of intellectual property, and enhancing the skills of businesses, organizations, and individuals in creating, establishing rights, protecting, and commercializing intellectual property.
