The Prime Minister also emphasized that in the coming time, the tasks of the Steering Committee are extremely heavy, important and urgent. The Prime Minister asked the members of the Steering Committee to continue to promote a high sense of responsibility, and that the assignment of tasks must ensure 6 clarity: "clear people, clear work, clear time, clear responsibility, clear product, clear authority"; "far-sighted, think deeply and do great things".
The Prime Minister also directed: Party committees and local authorities at all levels to urgently carry out site clearance and technical infrastructure relocation; pay special attention to resettlement work and support production stabilization so that people have new places to live, new jobs, and new livelihoods that are at least equal to and better than their old places.
"If the site clearance work is good and the project preparation is good, the implementation will be good. If the site clearance is blocked and resettlement is problematic, the work will be stuck" - the Prime Minister directed.

According to the report, the North-South high-speed railway project through Lam Dong province is 156.14 km long, including 2 stations (Phan Ri Station in Phan Ri Thanh Commune, Bac Binh District (old) now in Bac Binh Commune, Lam Dong Province and Phan Thiet Station in Ham Hiep Commune, Ham Thuan Bac District (old) now in Binh Thuan Ward, Lam Dong Province) and 4 maintenance stations, with an expected clearance area of 936 hectares. The project area passes through 17 communes and 1 ward.
Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has carried out preparatory work such as planning review, site clearance and resettlement.
Specifically, implementing the directions of the Government and the Ministry of Construction on implementing compensation, support, and resettlement (land clearance) for the Project, the Provincial People's Committee has directed departments, branches and local authorities where the project has been carried out to carry out a number of tasks including: Notifying and disseminating to people within the planned area of land clearance; strictly managing to prevent illegal construction, taking advantage of policies, affecting people's lives and causing insecurity and disorder; reviewing the resettlement needs of the project.
The province has reviewed the resettlement needs and resettlement arrangement plan of the project and sent an Official Dispatch (formerly Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee) to the Railway Project Management Board requesting capital allocation for the locality to implement construction investment to ensure the progress of the project.
