Early afternoon of August 29, information from Hanoi Metro Company Limited said that in order to meet the increased travel demand during the National Day holiday on September 2, the unit will implement an overnight operation plan for both lines 2A (Cat Linh - Ha Dong) and 3.1 (Nhon - Hanoi Station).

Specifically, on August 29, the elevated railway will operate continuously from 5:30 a.m. on August 29 to 3:10 a.m. on August 30, with a frequency of 10 minutes/trip.

On August 30, the train runs from 4:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., of which from 4:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the frequency is 6 minutes/trip, the remaining time slots are 10 minutes/trip.

The company also announced that from 3:10 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. on August 30, the ship will temporarily stop for technical maintenance and system inspection to ensure safe operation afterwards.

In addition, from 0:00 on August 30 to the end of September 2, passengers traveling at all stations on the two urban railway lines (Line 2A Cat Linh - Ha Dong and Line 3.1 Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station) will be exempted from train tickets.

Passengers should eat and drink enough, prepare drinks and snacks, especially during rush hour when there are many passengers and may have to queue for a long time. Passengers should pay attention to protecting their personal belongings, avoiding loss or being taken advantage of.
