The unexpected incident forced players to leave the Big One roller coaster at Blackpool Pleasure Beach - England and be assisted down by emergency stairs.
According to the Guardian on April 13, a representative of the amusement park said the incident happened at around 2:50 p.m. (local time) and the roller coaster had to close until the end of the day due to "strong winds."
Georgina Harrison, a witness to the evacuation and manager of the King's Boutique Hotel, which overlooks the Big One roller coaster, said the entire operation was orderly and safe.

Ms Harrison: "We can see everything that happens on the Big One and I was surprised to see this. Sometimes things like this happen."
When asked if she had ever ridden the roller coaster, Ms Harrison said: "Definitely not. I just like to watch from a distance."
Another image on Twitter shows passengers calmly walking down the stairs to leave the roller coaster. The person who posted the image said: "It was cold, rainy and quite windy. However, the staff did a great job helping people get off the roller coaster."
A spokesperson for Blackpool Pleasure Beach said the Big One stopped mid-ride due to sudden weather conditions. Passengers on the ride were reassured and taken off the coaster by Blackpool Pleasure Beach staff. The Big One coaster was closed early in the day due to strong winds.
The Big One, which opened in 1994 and is the tallest and steepest roller coaster in the world , is 72m high. It is still the tallest roller coaster in the UK but has long since lost its title as the world's tallest.
The world's tallest roller coaster is currently Kingda Ka (nearly 139 m) at Six Flags Great Adventure Amusement Park in New Jersey - USA. This park recommends that people with "faint hearts" should not try it.
