According to the People's Committee of Bach Long Vi Special Zone ( Hai Phong City), as of 8:00 a.m. on July 21, all boats under the management of the special zone had been moved to a safe place.
The total number of boats in the Bach Long Vi area under local management is 76 vehicles and 84 workers. Up to now, all boats and fishermen have moved to safety. 66 boats and 66 workers were supported by the people and local authorities to bring them ashore to avoid the storm. The remaining 10 boats and 18 workers are safely anchored in the harbor.

In addition, according to observations of Radar Station 490 (under Battalion 151, Navy Region 1), at noon on June 21, there were 6 transport ships at sea, 16 - 32 nautical miles from Bach Long Vi Island, moving on a maritime route, moving towards Hai Phong seaport.

Mr. Dao Dinh Dong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bach Long Vi Special Zone, said that up to now, the locality has mobilized sufficient forces, means, food and provisions to prepare for storm prevention. The Special Zone has also arranged 2 inspection teams to organize and implement storm prevention plans at agencies, units, residential areas and ports in the area.

Currently, the functional forces on Bach Long Vi island continue to inform and call on vehicles still operating at sea to return to safe storm shelters. Urge and guide fishermen on vehicles anchored in the harbor to tie and secure their boats. Propagate, guide and urge agencies, units and households to organize the tying of houses and warehouses, ensuring the safety of livestock, crops and vegetables. Organize plans to evacuate households from vulnerable areas to take shelter from storms in case a big storm makes landfall on the island...
