Russian racer Petr Rikunov won the yellow jersey at the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup race.

In the 163km long stage 25, from Cao Lanh City to Independence Palace, Ho Chi Minh City, racer Martin Laas of Chau Thoi Vinh Long team was the first athlete to cross the finish line to win the final stage of the season. The second and third places were Le Nguyet Minh of Ho Chi Minh City New Group and Quang Van Cuong of Military Zone 7, respectively.

Despite not finishing the final stage, Russian racer Petr Rikunov of Loc Troi Group still won the overall yellow jersey. He was also the owner of the green jersey title – the overall sprint king.

Loc Troi An Giang Group team won big when they added the orange jersey title for the best Vietnamese racer to Nguyen Tan Hoai.

In the team award, TP.HCM Vinama won the championship cup, second place for the team went to Loc Troi An Giang Group. Third place went to the Domesco Dong Thap Pharmaceutical racing team.

Ho Chi Minh City Vinama team won the championship cup

After 25 stages, starting in Dien Bien Phu City on April 3, with a total route of more than 2,700 km, passing through many provinces and cities along the country and ending in Ho Chi Minh City. This is the first time the race has opened in Dien Bien Phu City.
