Hanoi leads in the number of candidates with a total score of 29.5 or higher in the 2025 high school graduation exam combination C00, but the top scorer in this combination is a candidate from Nghe An with a near-perfect score.

According to Thanh Nien statistics from the 2025 high school graduation exam score data of the Ministry of Education and Training, group C00 (literature, history, geography) has 193 candidates with a total score of 29 or higher. At the top of this group is Nguyen Tran Yen Nhi, a student at Cua Lo High School in Cua Lo Ward (formerly Nghi Huong Ward) in Nghe An Province , with a perfect score of 9.75 points in history, geography and literature.

If the total score of the C00 combination is 29.5 or higher, Hanoi leads with 5 candidates. However, if the total number of candidates with 29 points or higher is considered, Nghe An rises to first place with 66 candidates, accounting for more than 1/3 of the total number of candidates. Also in this group, there are less than 10 candidates from the South, in the provinces of Dong Nai, An Giang, Can Tho, Vinh Long and Ca Mau.

From July 22, candidates will receive their high school graduation exam results certificate and other relevant certificates for university admission. From July 16 to 5 p.m. on July 28, candidates can register and adjust their wishes an unlimited number of times and pay the online fee from July 29 to 5 p.m. on August 5.

Before 5:00 p.m. on August 22, training institutions will notify candidates who have passed the first round of admission and before 5:00 p.m. on August 30, candidates will confirm their admission online for the first round on the Ministry of Education and Training's system.
