After Long An and Tay Ninh provinces merged into Tay Ninh province, the local health care system was improved and reorganized to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, better serving the health care needs of the people.
Currently, the public health network of Tay Ninh province (new) includes 11 general and specialized hospitals at the provincial level; 26 regional health centers; 96 central health stations and many point health stations.
At the same time, the private healthcare system has also developed strongly with 9 private hospitals and nearly 2,000 general and specialized clinics... contributing significantly to reducing the burden on upper-level facilities, ensuring people have access to healthcare services right at the grassroots level.
The former district health centers were converted into regional health centers. Ben Luc Regional Health Center (formerly Ben Luc District Health Center) serves the medical examination and treatment needs of people in Ben Luc, Thanh Loi, Binh Duc, Luong Hoa, and My Yen communes.
With the characteristics of being a concentrated area, industrial clusters, and a large number of workers, the center has become a trusted destination for people in the region. In recent years, along with the province's equipment investment project, the medical team at the center has constantly strived to innovate and improve service quality.

Doctor Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Head of the Examination Department - Ben Luc Regional Medical Center, said that the department currently has 10 examination rooms, equipped with basic machines such as eye measurement equipment, ENT endoscopy, dental equipment, etc. Thanks to that, many common diseases are treated right at the grassroots level, patients do not have to be transferred to higher levels.
However, the center is still lacking a team of successor doctors, especially in the eye, maxillofacial, and ear-nose-throat specialties, there is currently only one doctor. If the doctor is busy or suddenly leaves, it will be difficult to arrange a replacement.
Ms. Vo Ngoc Phuong Linh, resident of Ben Luc commune, shared: “The medical examination and treatment process at the Medical Center is now very convenient, patients are guided enthusiastically, and do not have to wait long. The new facilities are spacious, the equipment is more modern, the doctors are enthusiastic and friendly. My family has elderly grandmothers who regularly come here for medical examinations such as heart and blood pressure, and feel very secure.”
According to the Department of Health of Tay Ninh province, many provincial hospitals are also equipped with modern equipment such as digital subtraction angiography (DSA) system, 1.5 Tesla MRI machine, 128-slice CT scanner, cranial neurosurgery navigation system, continuous blood filtration machine, and RFA high-frequency radio wave ablation system.
In particular, 89 artificial kidney dialysis machines have been added to public health facilities, increasing the number of patients treated for kidney failure locally. This investment not only helps improve the quality of diagnosis and treatment, but also significantly reduces the number of referrals, saving costs and time for people.
Mr. Do Hong Son, Director of Tay Ninh Department of Health, said that in 2025, the province will implement a project to purchase artificial kidney dialysis machines and some urgent equipment with a total capital of 75 billion VND.
In addition, the province also allocated more than 135 billion VND to purchase essential equipment for regional medical centers.
According to the Director of Tay Ninh Department of Health, in the new phase, the health sector will focus on reorganizing, stabilizing human resources, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, strengthening disease surveillance and perfecting grassroots health care.
Bidding and procurement of drugs and medical supplies will be carried out transparently and effectively to promptly meet people's needs.
Tay Ninh health sector continues to focus on investing in modern equipment, improving the skills of medical staff, aiming to develop specialized techniques, creating conditions for people to enjoy high-quality medical services right in the locality./.
