Looking ahead to the 14th National Congress of the Party, many officials and people in Tay Ninh province have expressed deep concern and placed their hopes in strategic decisions that will bring about significant changes in improving the lives and incomes of the people.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuat, a resident of Thu Thua commune, in recent years, under the leadership of the Party and the administration of the State, the province's socio -economic development has achieved many positive results.
The infrastructure system has been invested in comprehensively, industrial zones are gradually expanding, and high-tech agriculture is developing in a modern direction. The material and spiritual lives of the people have improved, and the appearance of urban and rural areas is becoming increasingly vibrant.
However, Ms. Thuat noted that the income of some workers is still not truly stable, especially workers in industrial zones, small-scale farmers, and freelance workers.
Fluctuations in the cost of living, including rising housing, healthcare, and education expenses, have directly impacted people's lives, making it difficult for many families to save and improve their quality of life.
This reality necessitates that future development policies focus more on people's real income and ability to enjoy it.
In addition, Ms. Thuat also reflected on some issues arising from the practical handling of administrative procedures at the grassroots level. According to her, although commune-level officials and civil servants receive attention in training and opportunities to update their knowledge and skills in the digital environment, there is still a situation where some young officials lack focus and do not carefully check documents before returning results, leading to regrettable errors in names and addresses, forcing people to make corrections and return multiple times.
Furthermore, some local officials are hesitant and lack initiative, waiting for approval from superiors for everything, repeatedly postponing meetings with residents, while in some places the commune office is tens of kilometers away from residential areas, causing considerable difficulties for the people.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuat expressed her hope that the 14th National Congress of the Party would continue to focus on perfecting mechanisms and policies for economic development linked to sustainably increasing income for workers; while also emphasizing the improvement of the quality of grassroots officials, strengthening administrative discipline and order, and fostering a sense of responsibility in serving the people, so that policies and guidelines truly come to life.
Mr. Bui Van Diep (Diep Vam Co), a retired official from Long An ward, believes that information about the Congress has been disseminated fully and promptly recently, creating widespread interest among officials, Party members, and all segments of the population.
Not only cadres and Party members, but also a large number of citizens are following and anticipating the major directions that will be adopted by the Congress, considering this a significant milestone for the country's development in the coming period.
According to Mr. Diep, the groundbreaking innovations in the organizational structure and model of local government towards streamlining, effectiveness, and efficiency in recent times have clearly demonstrated the leadership role, courage, and political determination of the Party.
Reorganizing administrative units and innovating management methods not only helps to use resources more efficiently but also aims to better serve the people in a more practical way.
Based on real-life experiences, Mr. Diep expressed his hope that the 14th National Congress would continue to formulate policies and guidelines that are in line with the aspirations of the people, especially in essential areas such as education, healthcare, and social security.
According to him, when these policies are implemented synchronously and effectively, people will reduce their financial burden, have the conditions to focus on developing their family economy, and improve their quality of life.
Mr. Bui Van Diep expressed his confidence that the resolutions of the 14th National Congress would soon be concretized into practical action programs and plans, put into practice, creating new momentum for socio-economic development, improving the lives and incomes of the people; thereby fulfilling the trust and aspirations of voters on the eve of the Congress.
