(QBĐT) - On May 22, the Center for Rescue, Conservation and Development of Organisms (Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park Management Board) organized the release of completed wildlife into the natural environment to carry out biodiversity conservation work.
Accordingly, 17 wild animals were released into the wild, including: 3 pig-tailed macaques, 1 northern yellow-fronted box turtle, 1 box turtle, 1 cetacean, 1 terrapin, 1 jungle cat, 2 miniature lorises, 1 palm civet, 4 civets, 2 pythons and 1 bamboo rat.

Among these wildlife individuals are endangered, precious and rare forest animals as prescribed in Decree No. 84/2021/ND-CP of the Government on the management of endangered, precious and rare forest plants and animals and the implementation of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.
It is known that these are wild animals transferred by the Hanoi Wildlife Rescue Center and voluntarily handed over by people to the authorities to hand over to the Center for Rescue, Conservation and Development of Creatures for care, nurturing, and rehabilitation of their behaviors before releasing them back into the natural environment.

Up to now, after completing rescue work at the Center for Rescue, Conservation and Development of Living Creatures, wildlife individuals have been released into the natural environment, most of them have adapted and integrated into nature in the forest area of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park.
