Thai Binh has a new Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development

On the afternoon of January 19, at the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the People's Committee of Thai Binh province held a conference to announce the decision to appoint the Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province Nguyen Khac Than attended and chaired the conference.

At the conference, the leaders of the Department of Home Affairs announced the decision of the Provincial People's Committee on transferring Mr. Nguyen Van Chien, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc to work at the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and appointing him to the position of Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development from January 19, 2024.

Presenting the decision and congratulating the new Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Than emphasized the important role of the agricultural and rural development sector in the socio-economic development of the province. Over the years, this sector has always achieved many important results, serving as the foundation and support for the province's economic development.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assessed that the new Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has a lot of experience and achievements in his work, including many years of working in the agricultural sector.

At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Van Chien is requested to continue to cultivate qualities, practice, strive, promote his role, exemplary character, innovate, dare to think and dare to do, inherit the achieved results, together with the collective leadership, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the industry to continue to carry out and complete the assigned tasks.

Advise the province on effective solutions to restructure the agricultural sector and build new rural areas to develop modern Thai Binh province's agriculture towards commodity production, making important contributions to the province's development.

Speaking at the ceremony, the new Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Thai Binh expressed his gratitude and honor to be trusted and assigned important responsibilities by the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee, and at the same time seriously accepted the direction of the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and promised to try, make efforts, wholeheartedly, and quickly approach the new tasks; together with the collective leadership, cadres and civil servants in the sector, inherit and promote traditions to successfully complete all assigned tasks, making worthy contributions to the overall development of the province.
