Visit and celebrate Sene Don Ta festival

On the occasion of the Sene Don Ta festival in 2025, on September 19, a working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and armed forces of An Giang province, led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee, visited and congratulated the Provincial Association of Patriotic Monks and Khlang Ong Pagoda (in Chau Thanh commune).

Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy presented gifts to the Provincial Association of Patriotic Buddhist Monks and Nuns.

Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy presented gifts to Khlang Ong Pagoda.

The Provincial Military Command presented gifts to Khlang Ong Pagoda.

At the places visited, Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy warmly greeted and wished good health to Khmer dignitaries and Buddhists.

Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy wished the dignitaries of the Provincial Association of Patriotic Monks and Nuns, Khlang Ong Pagoda, and Khmer Buddhists good health and happiness, and a joyful, warm, and united Sene Don Ta festival; wishing the Khmer people a peaceful and happy life.

Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy acknowledged that in the process of socio -economic development, there have been many contributions from people of all ethnic groups and religions, including the Khmer people.

In the coming time, the provincial leaders hope that the monks, the superior monks, the great monks, and the Buddhists will always accompany and encourage Buddhists to unite, compete in work and study, and continue to contribute to the socio-economic development of the province.

Colonel Huynh Thanh Lam, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, presented a gift to congratulate Venerable Danh Lan, abbot of Klang Ong Pagoda.

Visiting Klang Ong Pagoda in Chau Thanh Commune, An Giang Province, Colonel Huynh Thanh Lam, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police sent his best wishes to the monks and Buddhists, and expressed his hope that the Khmer people would continue to uphold their cultural traditions and promote the spirit of national solidarity. At the same time, he affirmed that the Provincial Police force always accompanies and supports the people, together building a prosperous and happy life and maintaining security and order, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.

An Bien commune leaders presented gifts to typical Khmer families of policy beneficiaries on the occasion of Sene Don Ta festival.

The working delegation led by Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province, Nguyen Thi Phuong Linh, visited and presented gifts to Chac Bang Moi Pagoda (Vinh Phong commune), Thu Nam Pagoda (Dong Thai commune), and Thu Ba Pagoda (An Bien commune) to 3 typical dignitaries on the occasion of the Sene Don Ta festival in 2025.

On this occasion, leaders of Vinh Phong commune presented gifts to Chac Bang Moi pagoda and 3 Khmer families in difficult circumstances; leaders of Dong Thai commune presented gifts to Thu Nam pagoda; leaders of An Bien commune presented gifts to Thu Ba pagoda and 3 typical Khmer families with meritorious services.
