In the 2020 - 2025 term, Vinh Gia Commune Party Committee recorded positive results. Economy, culture - society, national defense, security, foreign relations were consolidated and expanded; the political system was improved after the merger. The implementation of policies and laws on gender equality and social security gradually entered life, raising social awareness in the 4.0 industrial revolution.

Enterprises and production facilities have gradually recovered strongly, improved and developed. Many enterprises have actively invested in expanding production, innovating equipment, technology, machinery, improving labor productivity and product quality. At the same time, creating jobs for many local workers. On that basis, the average income per capita in the commune has reached 80 million VND/year.

Agriculture continues to develop, contributing significantly to the overall achievements of the locality. The focus is on agricultural production, with a total planting area of ​​97,962 hectares/year (an increase of 14,369 hectares compared to the beginning of the term). Farmer Pham Tan Loc said that in the past, his family cultivated rice using traditional methods, so productivity and profit were not high, and traders often forced down prices. Following the locality's policy of applying scientific advances to production, especially high-quality rice production, Mr. Loc's family boldly equipped a "3-in-1" drone to sow rice, spread fertilizer and spray pesticides.

“With an area of ​​10 hectares of high-quality rice production, my family earns a profit of 340-400 million VND each year after deducting expenses. Using drones in rice cultivation helps us save costs, increase profits, and solve the current labor shortage in the locality,” Mr. Loc affirmed.

In addition, education and training have developed; social security, welfare and health care policies have been improved; national defense, security, order and social safety have been maintained... Today, the appearance of the countryside has changed significantly, infrastructure, rural and intra-field traffic have received attention for investment and construction, and the material and spiritual life of the people has been gradually improved.

Emphasizing the achieved results, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Vinh Gia Commune Nguyen Van Be Tam said that the Party Committee, government and people of the commune have promoted the tradition of solidarity, dynamism, creativity, and strived to overcome difficulties and challenges. The leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee have been gradually improved, meeting the requirements of political tasks in the new situation, contributing to the basic and successful implementation of the resolution of the Commune Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.

In the coming years, the economic situation of Vinh Gia commune is expected to continue to develop on the basis of exploiting the potential advantages of land, labor resources, and border trade. The ability to apply science and technology, especially high technology, of the people creates a foundation for the development of agricultural, industrial, tourism, trade and service economy.

The key task of the locality is to focus on exploiting the potential and strengths of land, raw materials, transport infrastructure, and border trade economy, thereby proposing appropriate solutions to promote economic transformation, attract investment, and contribute to increasing the value of agricultural production. At the same time, the locality will develop agricultural economy associated with the application of scientific and technological advances; transform the structure of crops and livestock in the direction of adapting to climate change and the market; encourage the development of cooperative economy, household economy linked according to the value chain, etc.

The Party Committee and the government of Vinh Gia commune also focus on developing human resources and administrative reform; using quality human resources, especially science and technology human resources to meet the needs of digital transformation. Promoting comprehensive digital transformation, taking people as the center, businesses as the driving force, technology as a tool, effectively implementing digital government, digital economy and digital society, associated with specific local conditions.

Immediately after the Congress, Vinh Gia commune focused on reorganizing production, protecting the environment, responding to climate change and salinity intrusion. Developing concentrated raw material areas, with strong agricultural products such as: High-quality rice, vegetables, fruit trees, livestock, encouraging the development of aquaculture areas, and aquaculture monoculture. In addition, replicating production models according to the value chain: Tissue-cultured bananas, fruit trees, various vegetables, and building OCOP products (One Commune One Product Program). Striving to achieve the value of agricultural production of more than 120 million VND/ha by 2030.
