An Giang organizes many activities to welcome the Provincial Party Congress

On the afternoon of September 22, chairing the press conference to provide information on the 1st Congress of An Giang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, Standing Committee member, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Subcommittee for Propaganda, Reception and Celebration Tong Phuoc Truong said that the province will organize many activities to welcome the congress.

Comrade Tong Phuoc Truong said that the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee directed to promote propaganda work, create a solemn and exciting atmosphere towards the congress; directed to create reports, open propaganda columns, introduce advanced models, outstanding achievements of the two provinces before the merger and the development vision in the new term. At the same time, organize cultural, artistic and sports activities to welcome the congress, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, trust and expectations of the people in the leadership of the Party.

The province announced to hang the national flag 5 days before, during and after the congress (from September 30 to October 4, 2025); develop an art program to celebrate the success of the Congress, live on An Giang Provincial Newspaper and Radio - Television at 7:00 p.m. on October 3, 2025. Location at An Giang Provincial Cultural - Art Center. Agencies are assigned to stage a touring art program to serve the grassroots, from September 10 to 20, 2015. Location at 10 communes and wards in remote, border, island and revolutionary base areas.

Organizing an exhibition area of ​​images of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee through the congress periods; exhibition area of ​​socio-economic achievements for the 2020 - 2025 term and orientation for 2025 - 2030. Duration of organization is 5 days (from October 1 to 5, 2025). Location at the An Giang Provincial Cultural - Art Center.

The province also organizes exhibitions and introductions of science and technology; promotes tourism, introduces export products, OCOP products, and typical products of the province. The duration is 5 days (from October 1 to 5, 2025). Organizes Tourism and Cuisine Festival combined with Trade Promotion Fair, OCOP products - Rach Gia (scale of 300 - 400 booths). The duration is 9 days (from September 27 to October 5, 2025), at Tran Quang Khai Square, Rach Gia ward.

Comrade Tong Phuoc Truong added that the Provincial Party Standing Committee directed the good organization of emulation movements to achieve achievements to welcome the Provincial Party Congress towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The province has identified 10 works and projects to start construction and inaugurate to welcome the congress, including the following projects: Investment in expanding Phu Quoc International Airport; Provincial Road 975, APEC Boulevard, Cua Can Lake, APEC Conference Center in Phu Quoc Special Zone; bridge on the coastal road connecting An Bien - Rach Gia; belt road parallel to Provincial Road 942, located in An Hoi commune; Nui Sam Cultural Park ring road; upgrading and expanding Huong Lo 11. One project to be inaugurated is Phu Tho Secondary School.
