At the families' homes, the delegation cordially inquired about the health and well-being of the Mothers; expressing profound gratitude for the immense sacrifices and losses made by the Mothers and their families in the struggle for national liberation and reunification. These great contributions are a beautiful symbol of revolutionary heroism, a shining example for present and future generations to learn from and emulate.
On this occasion, the Department of Agriculture and Environment awarded each Mother a quarterly allowance of 3 million VND, contributing to the care of their material and spiritual lives, demonstrating the department's responsibility and deep gratitude towards those who have contributed to the revolution.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment's decision to provide care and support for two Vietnamese Heroic Mothers residing in Tran Van Thoi commune is a deeply humane act. This is not only a practical activity demonstrating the principle of "drinking water, remembering the source," but it also contributes to spreading a profound humanitarian message, expressing the affection and responsibility of today's generations towards those who have dedicated their lives to the nation. At the same time, it continues to nurture and spread the fine traditional values of the nation.

Mr. Bui Tu Hai, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ca Mau province, visited and presented gifts to Mrs. Mai Thi Dieu.
Mother Mai Thi Dieu, born in 1930, currently residing in Trang Co hamlet, Tran Van Thoi commune, Ca Mau province, was awarded the title by the State in June 1994. Her husband and only son bravely sacrificed their lives in the resistance war against the US to save the country. Mother Vo Thi Nhanh, born in 1933, currently residing in Hamlet 7, Tran Van Thoi commune, Ca Mau province, was awarded the title by the State in September 2014. She had two sons who fought and sacrificed their lives in the resistance war against the US.

During the visit, the delegation noted that Mrs. Mai Thi Dieu still faces many difficulties in her daily life. The Department of Agriculture and Environment will propose to the Party Committee and the Board of Directors to provide Mrs. Dieu with an air conditioner to improve her living conditions during the hot weather. "This gift will be delivered as soon as possible," informed Mr. Bui Tu Hai, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ca Mau province.
